AUBURN, Ala.- Work to repair the pedestrian bridge connecting the Gay Street Parking Deck and Magnolia Plaza is expected to begin on Monday, Nov. 10.

During work, the drive lane behind Magnolia Plaza will be closed. A portion of the parking spaces on the ground level of the deck will also be closed to allow drivers to circulate and park in either lane.

Work will last approximately two weeks, weather permitting. The drive lane will reopen to traffic beginning Fridays of Auburn University home football game weekends.

Businesses in the area are encouraged to route any deliveries to another location, including the loading dock accessible from Tichenor Avenue or Gay Street.

Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use caution in the area. The City appreciates the public's patience during this necessary repair work.
